"We absolutely loved this place, beautiful views of the beach, close to everything including the boat place we used for crab island. It was a lot less busier than the crowded side of Destin so it was perfect! I wish they allowed dogs because we missed our babies but we would love to come back.

"The unit was wonderful. It was spotless and nicely furnished and decorated.
The only issue we had was the person smoking on the balcony beneath us. We thought The Palms was a nonsmoking building. We contacted Legacy Vacations but all we got from them was a “Sorry.”

Hey for the apologies again about the smoking issue. I can understand how it might feel like we just simply said 'sorry.' Legacy Vacations doesn't manage every unit in The Palms and therefore, our ability to resolve certain issues is largely beyond our control. This was the case with your situation. We took the only available action - to notify the HOA manager of the situation and request their intervention, which we did. I certainly regret that you encountered this situation and I wish there was more we could have done to help resolve it. I am delighted, however, to hear that the things we could control met or exceeded expectations.

"The condo was so nice. Everything including appliances, countertops, showers etc was up-to-date. Mattress was comfortable as well. It was spotless, smelled nice, and they had turned lamps on and had relaxing music going when we entered that gave it an inviting welcoming feel. I also like a corner unit so it gives more light and you can see out to the ocean from the side. I would definitely stay here again.

"The property was right on the Gulf on one the most beautiful stretches of beach we have stayed on. Not overcrowded. Comfortable beds. Close to everything. We will stay on this property again.

"The condo was exactly as described and looked even better in person , extremely clean and has everything you need, the building isn’t near as crowded as others in the area and the beaches are very nice as well , a lot of great eating in the area some within walking distance!

"We loved this unit at The Palms. It was very well equipped from the kitchen all the way to the blackout curtains! Everything was brand new and so clean. The walk to the beach is super short! Also, it’s a quick 5 minute walk to Tom Thumb to get anything you might need. Definitely a unit to visit again!
