"Dependable condo at a dependable location. We prefer this condo for its location, smaller building size and low traffic density. Just 5 minutes from the pier, shopping and great restaurants. Stayed in Destin last year for a change of pace but the crowds and traffic were horrendous. We’re back to stay.

A Piece of Heaven on Earth

Review Date: May 13, 2026

Vacation Date: April 19, 2026

"My wife and I are very busy preachers, parents and grandparents who also assist in the care with 85 and 86-year-old parents. We were tired and needed to get away,so we headed to Fort Walton Beach Florida with the prayer to find something nice and peaceful on a budget. When Colin told us to deal he had was to not believe it. It was an answer to our prayer. The condo was beautiful clean and had an amazing view from the living room and bedroom of the beach. We also had chairs and an umbrella reserve for us. This was such a wonderful stay. We will return.

"My husband and I are very busy people we have parents 85 and 86 that we take care of Plus very busy grandchildren that we help with. Things had gotten really stressful and we needed a break. At the last minute we decided to come to our favorite place Fort Walton Beach on a budget. We prayed the entire time for a place that would suit our needs. We were only expecting a hotel room on the beach. When we got to Legacy Vacations and met the man whose name I think is Colin we knew our prayers were answered. When he showed me what he had to offer I figured there had to be some type of glitch. The condo is very large, very clean and they're such a spirit of peace here. There are two large bathrooms and two large bedrooms. All of the amenities we needed are here, they are clean and working. The view of the beach from the balcony is amazing. Even more amazing there were chairs and an umbrella provided for us at no cost each day on the beach. It's a private beach so we don't have to deal with a lot of stuff we were not wanting to be bothered with. Everyone here was so very friendly. I love this place and plan to come back at least once a quarter. It's so amazing I plan to spend my 65th birthday here. Thank you Legacy Vacations you have truly been and answer to a prayer for a praying couple.

"Fantastic condo! Great view! Had everything we needed except kitchen essentials like salt, paper, ziplocks, coffee filters etc but that was ok. Also bring your own hairdryer & fan if you need one to sleep but other than that we loved this condo. Had tvs in every room. WiFi worked great. Plenty of parking. Comes with first come first serve beach chairs & umbrella. All kitchen appliances worked well. Washer and dryer work great. Very clean all the way through. Plenty of bath towels and wash rags. This condo is located on opposite end of the elevator so you will have a short walk to elevator but you have stair access at your room. Condo manager is very responsive & friendly. We will definitely book this condo again!!

Great condo & amazing view

Review Date: July 7, 2025

"The condo had the best view & location was great. Communication with owner/ property manager was very good! Condo was very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as dishes & appliances. I will say be prepared to buy your basic kitchen necessities like salt, pepper, ziplocks, coffee filters, extra trash bags, paper towels etc. Every condo we’ve ever stayed would have those things left over from previous stayers. This one was completely cleaned out which was fine. We just didn’t expect it. Bring your own hair dryer & fan if you use one when you sleep. Every room had its own tv with cable. WiFi worked great. All kitchen appliances worked great. Refrigerator had an ice maker which we appreciated. There is not a public ice machine which was fine. There was plenty of parking. This condo is located on the end opposite to the elevator so be prepared to take stairs or walk down to the elevator. It was not a problem for us. It came with first come first serve beach chairs and umbrella or you have the option to reserve them but I’m not sure if that cost extra. We just always went down first thing in the morning & claimed ours by putting our beach towels & beach toys in them. No one bothered our stuff. Overall great condo & view for the price!! We will definitely book this one again!!

On the beach! Great view!

Review Date: April 27, 2025

Vacation Date: March 21, 2025

"The unit was as depicted in the description and pictures. The view of the beach from the larger bedroom was spectacular, via either the window or the balcony door. Similarly, the beach view from the "living room" and balcony was also fantastic. The balcony was roomy and comfortable with two reclining lounge chairs plus a eating table with two chairs. There was a TV in every room with all cable channels. It was nice having two bathrooms -- HOWEVER, a big drawback for the bathroom off the main bedroom was the lack of a bathroom door! Our management firm was excellent and responsive. The pool was in the parking lot, not a great view, but the water was clean and warm. The beach service with chairs and umbrella was accommodating. The building itself is showing its age and the exterior of the front door could certainly use a coat of paint. I would not hesitate to use Legacy again -- they are great.

The updated bed and couch were a god send after our drive and were incredibly comfortable. "Loved the location and balcony and bedroom with ocean view. We could see the moon rise above the ocean from our bedroom and balcony each night. The condo itself could definitely use some updates, but that was said in the description so this was no surprise. The biggest issue was the old and stained carpet. The large tv's in the living room and bedrooms were nice, the broken chair on the balcony needs to be removed. There is only one elevator for the entire property and it malfunctioned for several hours one one day of our stay. Going up four flights of stairs in 100 degree heat was not ideal, and our beach neighbors said the elevator had also malfunctioned a day or two prior. Overall, the property and condo could do with some updates, but the area was clean and nice and we would definitely stay here again.

"This property is exactly as described. If you a no fuss, unbelievable view on a quiet beach this is it. If you wanting to be in center of action or looking for luxury this is not it. Its dated as described. But the view, the cleanliness and beach is second to none. One heads up, there is no bathroom door in the master. Its odd but doable.

Perfect Mother's Day Vacation

Review Date: May 20, 2023

"This condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our annual Mother's Day Beach Vacation. It's been a tradition since I was 10 years old and now I get to share these experiences and make more memories with my son. When my son and I walked into the condo, the beach and gulf view could be seen immediately from the front door. Absolutely gorgeous!!! The condo had a nice open concept from the entry through the kitchen, dining area and living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the master bedroom had the most breath taking view of the gulf. And the nights sitting on the balcony, watching the moon glisten on the gulf and listening to the waves breaking on the shore was so serene. It may not matter much to whomever reads this, but I wanted to mention that the dishware in this condo were the exact same ones as the ones I had growing up. The purple, blue and green floral dishware took me back, way back. My mom had picked them because they had all of our favorite colors. Hers was purple, mine blue and my brothers green. My mom passed away in 2020, losing her battle with cancer. When my son opened the cabinet to get a plate for dinner the first night, he gave it to me and I started happy crying, remembering my childhood, my mom. This was by far the best beach house I've rented and the best vacation my son and I had. The almost immediate access to the beach was perfect. And just a short 15 min drive to Destin Harbor for fun and adventure. I am very happy that we got the chance to stay in this condo. Thank you to the rental owenrs/ managers for a wonderful place to stay, while we made more memories.

Best Condo Ever!

Review Date: August 7, 2022

Vacation Date: July 30, 2022

"This was by far the best condo we have ever stayed in. We would actually live there as an apartment if could. It was well built and very useful. Washer and dyer was amazing. The condo had every kitchen utensil you can dream of and the appliances were up to date. The rooms had plenty of space. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and having TVs in every room; including the kitchen. It was quiet, comfortable and felt like home. My only complaints are the water pressure in the showers were very low and the one elevator was slow and very hot to be in. We will most definitely book this condo again if we can.

"Great location and view! Condo is as advertised, no thrills. However, we found it more than adequate for our needs. The rooms are spacious and having two full baths are a major plus. The two beach chairs and umbrella that come with the rental were a good addition as well. I’ve stayed other places were you have to rent them so this was a nice savings. Overall, no complaints!

"This condo building is in a great location. Only a couple miles from The Boardwalk and other places of interest. It’s right on the water and has a nice quiet, not over crowded beach with beach service (umbrellas & chairs)! This unit was a bit dated on the inside, but it was nice and clean and had all the stuff anyone would need. We were totally comfortable.
Also, I’d left an expensive bracelet there by accident, and they found it and sent it to me (at my expense, of course) within days. Gave me faith that there are still good, honest ppl out there. Legacy Vacations definitely has a customer for life for whenever we’re in the Destin/Fort Walton area.
