Reservations

What is required to make a reservation with Legacy Vacations?

Making a reservation is quick and easy! You can book right here on our website or give us a call and one of our vacation experts can help you secure the perfect place for your next vacation! In most cases, a simple $250 advanced payment is all that is required to reserve a unit.

Is there a minimum age requirement for renters

Yes! You must be at least 25 years of age or married to rent a unit with Legacy Vacations.

Can I cancel my reservations?

Yes. You can cancel at any time. The following cancellation schedule applies to all reservations.

  • Reservations cancelled 30 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival date can be cancelled without penalty.
  • Reservations cancelled within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date are subject to 100% forfeiture of monies paid.

Can I shorten my reservation?

No. All confirmed reservations are subject to the cancellation terms above.

Can I add nights to my reservation?

Yes. You can add nights to any existing reservation as long as it conforms to any seasonal booking rules (i.e. 7 night minimums in multiples of 7).

Can I move my reservation to a later date?

Outside of 60 days prior to arrival, yes. You can reschedule your reservation. Inside of 60 days, the reservation is considered confirmed, and any move would be treated like a cancellation.

Do you have a hurricane/tropical storm cancellation policy?

Yes! Should our area fall into a Tropical Storm Warning or Hurricane Warning area, guests will be able to reschedule their confirmed reservations without penalty. Should rescheduling not be possible, guests will be permitted to cancel impacted stays without penalty.

Check-In, Arrival, Departure

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in begins at 4pm and Check-out is 10am.

How do I get specific information about my rental unit and/or complex?

Easy! 30 days prior to your arrival, you will receive an email inviting you to log in to our guest portal. The guest portal will provide you with helpful packing tips + all the pertinent information about the location and unit you will need for your stay.

How do I get check in/get access to my unit?

On your day of arrival and once your unit has been cleared by our service teams, we will text and email you the door code for your stay. Once you receive this code, you can proceed to your assigned unit.

Can I check in early if I arrive before my scheduled check-in time?

Check-in time is 4pm. However, if your unit becomes available before that time, you will automatically receive a text from our system offering you an early check-in service. Additional charges may apply. In cases where early check-in is declined or otherwise unavailable, you will receive your door code via text message. Our system will automatically start distributing door codes for ready units after 3pm, as units are completed. All codes will be sent by 4pm.

Can I get arrange for late checkout?

Late checkouts are possible and are decided on a case by case basis. If the unit has a scheduled arrival on your day of departure, we will be unable to honor a late checkout request.

Reservation Costs

Are there any fees/costs due at check-in?

No! The rate you agreed to at the time of booking includes ALL taxes and fees. There are no additional costs or hidden fees.

Why do I have a charge from an entity other than Legacy Vacations?

Some 3rd party booking sites, like VRBO, charge a fee to guests using their platform to book a reservation. They collect that fee directly from you.

Pets

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not permitted at any property.

Are Service Animals allowed?

Yes. Under the ADA and Florida Statute 413.08, service animals are permitted. It is the responsibility of the pet owner to ensure compliance with all established rules and regulations pertaining to Service Animals. It should be noted that there is a distinction between Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals. Emotional Support Animals are not permitted.
