Our Rental Policies
Please note: When reserving online, your reservation is confirmed only upon receiving a confirmation email from Legacy Vacations. Some minimum night stays are required and we must review each reservation for valid parameters.
Check-In
Check-in begins at 3 PM. Due to our high standards of cleanliness, your unit may not be ready at 3:00 especially during the peak season. There will be no discounts due to late check-in. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Check-out is no later than 10:00 AM. If you will be arriving after 5 PM, you must call to arrange key pick-up.
Processing Fee
All reservations will be charged a one-time non-refundable processing fee.
Confirmation and Deposit
Reservations are not confirmed until a deposit of $250 is received. Deposit converts to a damage deposit at check-in and is returned within 14 days after departure providing the following provisions are met:
· No damage is done to the unit or its contents
· No smoking in the unit
· All debris and trash is removed from the unit and placed in the proper receptacle
· All dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned
· All keys are returned to the office that you checked in at
Rental Payment
Payment is due upon arrival. Preferable forms of payment: cash, traveler’s check, cashier’s check, and money orders. Payments may also be made with personal check if received at least 7 days prior to arrival. Payment via VISA, MasterCard or Discover will also be accepted. Credit cards will not be accepted for long-term rentals. There will be a $50.00 service fee on all returned checks.
Rates
Rental rates are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct rates that may have been misquoted in error, either by human or computer.
Cancellation
Any cancellation or change to short-term reservation requires a 21 day notice. Monthly reservations require a 60 day notice and two months or more require a 90 day notice to avoid forfeiting deposit. There will be no refund of the one-time processing fee. Cancellation or early departure (including inclement weather) does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit except during a mandatory hurricane evacuation ordered by the county emergency authorities.
Minimum Stay
All units have at least a minimum reservation period of 3 nights. Some units require minimum reservation periods of 7 nights. Please call for details.
Maximum Guests
The number of guests per unit is based on the individual unit’s bedding. Exceeding unit occupancy for a unit will result in immediate eviction and all rental payments. Call for details.
Family Rentals
Rentals are for families only. No unit will be rented to vacationing students or persons under 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian occupying the unit the entire time. Reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit security deposit and any unused rent.
Housekeeping
Your unit will be cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure. You will be responsible for the cleaning during your stay and for leaving your unit in good condition at check-out. Please remember that you are staying in a privately owned “home”. Please treat it as you would want someone to treat your own home.
Maintenance
Please report any maintenance office to Legacy Vacations. Maintenance staff may enter the unit to respond to any maintenance requests. Please do not leave the windows and/or doors open while the AC or heater is in operation.
Linens/Towels/Supplies
Linens and towels are provided for the unit. Please bring your own beach towels as our towels and linens are not permitted to leave the unit. Each unit will be stocked with an initial set-up of trash liners, toilet tissue, bath soap, and dishwasher detergent. Guests will be responsible for providing additional supplies.
Keys and Pool Tags
Unit keys and pool tags (when applicable) will be provided at check-in. There will be a $10.00 charge per key and/or pool tag not returned to the check-in office on the day of departure. If you become locked out after business hours, there will be a $25.00 charge paid directly to the agent at the time of service.
Property Rules and Regulations
Guest is required to abide by all rules and regulations for the property being rented.
· Throwing or dropping ANY object from patios, balconies and/or corridors will be grounds for IMMEDIATE EVICTION and forfeiture of rent. Violation of any of the condominium rules may result in IMMEDIATE EVICTION and forfeiture of rent.
Smoking
All units are considered non-smoking. Smoking in a unit will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
Pets
NO PETS permitted in rental units.
Trailers and Boats
No trailers or boats of any kind are permitted unless prior approval has been granted. Please call for details.
Security
Legacy Vacations is not responsible for any acts of theft or vandalism to your personal property during your stat or left in the unity after your departure.
Sub-Leasing
Reservations are not transferable. No sub-leasing permitted.
Agent for Owner
Guest acknowledges that Legacy Vacations is the agent of the property owner. All monies are placed in an interest bearing account with interest payable to agent.
